The Power of Plastics Forum at K 2025 – Green – Smart – Responsible!

Plastic products are part of our everyday lives. They are important for supply and prosperity in our world. And they are becoming increasingly sustainable. The transformation to a circular economy is in full swing. Mechanical engineering plays a key role when it comes to manufacturing recyclable products or producing new, high-quality products from plastic waste. They are the enablers of the plastics cycle.

The VDMA and its members are taking up the motto of K 2025 ‘The Power of Plastics! Green - Smart – Responsible’:

  • Green: The circular economy helps to conserve resources and reduce the carbon footprint.
  • Smart: Digitalisation, automation and AI increase efficiency and feasibility.
  • Responsible: People take centre stage – especially the industry's young talents.
